Introducing
Name: Nguyen Dinh Phi
Work as DevOps/platform engineer for over 7 years. I already did lots of things, passed through lots of different short-term long-term projects, technologies.
As DevOps, I mostly setup pipelines, workflows, from scratch for every new project. As platform engineer/ solution architect, I always brought the best solution to the team after investigation various of approaches.
I am quick learner, deeply understanding any project, technology, issue, incident, that I have to deal with.
Abilities
Adapt any kind of new technologies, quick understanding whole project when joining. I was a maintainer of 5 core microservices (wallets, payments, merchants, otac, switch, on-street parking) before. Owner of the full data ops pipeline flow of the Deputy project.
Challenge project: I had one project before, it was 1 month to be finished, spent 2 weeks for learning about the blockchain platform, even the syntax and features of new language. After all, I focused to finish the project on time to give the MVP version to the customer.
Incident
We did not enable API Gateway Access Logs, Authentication failed because of IP X-Forwarded-For, check networking, VPC logs, self testing, it cannot reach to the main Lambda/ ECS instance, stucked at the Lambda authorized function.
Cannot run any pipelines, OOM because of the php unit test mem leaked. Check Jenkin datadog memory metric >> pipeline metrics >> All pipeline got very high memory (Checking most RAM intensive container).
